Srinagar, Jan 14: In an unwavering commitment to operational excellence, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, the Army Commander for Northern Command, accompanied by the Chinar Corps Commander and the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Vajr Division, conducted a thorough review of the Counter Infiltration Grid in the Machhal Sector.
During this visit, Lt. Gen. Upendra Dwivedi engaged with forward Battalions and interacted with troops from Rashtriya Rifles, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Border Security Force (BSF), and the Border Roads Organization (BRO). He commended them for their steadfast vigilance and acknowledged their compelling contribution to maintaining lasting peace in the region.
