Police Organizes Bharat Darshan Tour for Students from District Kulgam

Srinagar, Feb 01: In a commendable initiative under the Civic Action Program (CAP) of J&K Police, 65 students from district Kulgam, along with three police officers as caretakers, embarked on a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour-2024. The journey began with an impressive flag-off ceremony at DPL Kulgam, led by Addl. SP Kulgam Tanveer Ahmad Dar-JKPS, accompanied by DySP Hrqs Kulgam Arif Hussain-JKPS & DySP DAR DPL Kulgam Rajinder Singh-JKPS.

Addl. SP Kulgam encouraged the students to seize the opportunity to enhance their knowledge by exploring historical sites and marvels across the country. He urged them to absorb the essence of the nation and make the most of this enriching experience, wishing them a safe and transformative journey filled with unforgettable memories.

Organized by J&K Police, the tour includes comprehensive facilities such as boarding, lodging, round-trip airfare, and logistic support. The itinerary covers visits to New Delhi and Mumbai, with accommodations in AC hotels and transportation in AC coaches. A knowledgeable guide will accompany the group, providing insights into the historical significance of the sites, ensuring an educational and informative trip.

Parents and students alike expressed gratitude towards J&K Police for this captivating initiative, appreciating the opportunity to explore prominent cities of the country.
