June 05: In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, a medical cum awareness camp was organized at Unit Headquarters JKAP 13th Bn APC Humhama in collaboration with doctors of AYUSH team.
The camp was attended by officers/officials of JKAP 13th Bn. While addressing the participants on the occasion, Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Gazi Divisional Nodal Officer Covid-19 explained the importance of Ayush medicines aimed at improving the level of health by stimulating the self regulatory mechanism and immunity booster especially in the context of Covid-19.
He also appreciated the role of J&K Police in implementing all government directions on ground regarding the control of Covid-19, despite inherent risk of contracting infections and acting as a front line warrior in fight against Covid-19.
On the occasion, Commandant JKAP 13th Bn Shamsheer Hussain-JKPS expressed gratitude to the Ayush team for organizing such awareness camp and free distribution of immune booster medicines among the jawans of the unit so as to boost their morale in their fight against Covid-19.“`
