Bandipora, Oct 08 (KINS): Bandipora Police has arrested two persons and recovered 9.052 kg of a charas-like substance during naka checking at Pashwari in Sumbal.
Police said 5.324 kg was recovered from Mohd Shafi Ganie and 3.728 kg from Shabir Ahmad Malik, both residents of Pashwari, Naidkhai. The suspected contraband was allegedly concealed in nylon bags.
A case (FIR No. 227/2026) under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sumbal, and further investigation is underway.(KINS)
