DIG SKR Flags Off Students for Bharat Darshan Tour Organized by J&K Police

Srinagar, Feb 09: In a bid to promote cultural exchange and foster national integration, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), South Kashmir Altaf Ahmad Khan-IPS, flagged off a group of enthusiastic students at District Police Lines (DPL) Anantnag for a Bharat Darshan Tour. The initiative, organized under the Civic Action Program by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, aims to provide young minds with an opportunity to explore various facets of India’s rich heritage and diversity.

The event witnessed a fervent send-off ceremony, with DIG Altaf Ahmad Khan expressing his delight at the participation of the students in the tour.
DIG highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering camaraderie and understanding among the youth from different regions.

The Bharat Darshan Tour is designed to expose the students to the cultural, historical, and geographical diversity of India. During their journey, the students will visit prominent landmarks, historical monuments, and cultural hubs across various states, thereby gaining insights into the country’s glorious past and vibrant present.

Under the guidance and supervision of J&K Police officials, the students are expected to embark on a memorable journey that not only educates but also inspires them to embrace the ethos of unity in diversity. The tour promises to be an enriching experience, fostering a sense of national pride and belonging among the participants.
