Srinagar, Feb 09: In a bid to promote cultural exchange and foster national integration, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), South Kashmir Altaf Ahmad Khan-IPS, flagged off a group of enthusiastic students at District Police Lines (DPL) Anantnag for a Bharat Darshan Tour. The initiative, organized under the Civic Action Program by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, aims to provide young minds with an opportunity to explore various facets of India’s rich heritage and diversity.
The event witnessed a fervent send-off ceremony, with DIG Altaf Ahmad Khan expressing his delight at the participation of the students in the tour.
DIG highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering camaraderie and understanding among the youth from different regions.
The Bharat Darshan Tour is designed to expose the students to the cultural, historical, and geographical diversity of India.
