LG Manoj Sinha Credits PM Modi for Kashmir’s Transformation to Peaceful Haven

Srinagar, Mar 07: Addressing a gathering for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha hailed the transformation of Kashmir from a region plagued by separatism and terrorism to a haven of peace.
He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for establishing lasting peace in Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing the absence of innocent lives lost and the cessation of pellet injuries and street protests. Additionally, Union Minister Dr. Jitendera Singh highlighted the region’s progress, noting the shift from violence to prosperity, symbolized by the replacement of stones and guns with iPads and laptops. The speakers emphasized the resurgence of traditional crafts like Pashmina weaving, once overshadowed by conflict, as a sign of Kashmir’s newfound tranquility and prosperity.
