Srinagar, Apr 16: Despite concerted efforts, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW-44) continues to be blocked due to adverse weather conditions, with restoration work currently underway.
Authorities are advising people to avoid traveling on NH-44 until the road is cleared and deemed safe. They are also urging cooperation with Traffic Police to ensure smooth traffic management during this period of disruption.
Commuters are encouraged to seek the latest updates from Traffic Control Units (TCU) to stay informed about the situation on NHW-44.

Furthermore, alternative routes such as the SSG road, Mughal road, and Sinthan road remain closed, compounding travel challenges for those in the region.
