SIA Jammu Attaches Property of Absconding Terrorist Abdul Hameed Khan in Rajouri

Srinagar, May 03: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) Jammu attached the property of an absconding terrorist, Abdul Hameed Khan, son of Late Mohd Sarvar Khan, a resident of Panjgrain (Gambhir Brahmana) in Tehsil Manjakote, District Rajouri. This action, conducted under Section 33 of the UA(P) Act, comes in response to FIR No. 05/2021 registered against Khan and his associates.
The FIR, filed under various sections including 13, 17, 18, 20, 38, 39 UA(P)A, Section 3 of the Official Secrets Act, and Section 201 of the IPC, implicates Khan along with his associates Mohd Rafiq Khan and Gurpal Singh. Abdul Hameed Khan, who underwent arms training in Pakistan under the LeT outfit, has been linked to numerous terrorist activities in District Rajouri. His role in activating sleeper cells and luring vulnerable youths to join LeT with the aim of waging war against India has been a cause of concern for law enforcement agencies.
In a significant breakthrough, SIA Jammu has successfully attached immovable property, valued at lakhs of rupees, situated at village Panjgrain (Gambhir Brahmana) in Tehsil Manjakote, District Rajouri. This property, identified and recorded in the name of the absconding terrorist, has been officially seized under Khasra No. 167, pursuant to the orders of the designated court.
The attachment of Khan’s property underscores the unwavering commitment of law enforcement agencies to dismantle terrorist networks and disrupt their financial infrastructure. This proactive measure by SIA Jammu serves as a warning to those involved in anti-national activities, reaffirming the government’s resolve to combat terrorism at all levels.
