Assembly Elections 2024: Provision of Assured Minimum Facilities Reviewed at Polling Stations in Zone Assar

Srinagar, Aug 22 (KINS): Nodal Officer for SVEEP and Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF), Chief Education Officer Parkash Lal Thapa, carried out an extensive inspection of polling stations in Zone Assar, District Doda. The purpose of the inspection was to ensure the provision of Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF), including ramps for differently-abled voters, shaded areas, drinking water, and toilet facilities.
Thapa visited polling stations at GHSS Khellani, GPS and GMS Malhori, GMS Trungal, GHSS Assar, GHS Baggar, and GPS Ganota. He engaged with the concerned officials to confirm that all necessary arrangements were in place. The inspection team also evaluated the availability of lighting, seating, and electricity at the polling stations, ensuring all essential services were operational.(KINS)
