Srinagar, Aug 24 (KINS): The Indian Army’s Chinar Corps has confirmed an ongoing encounter in the Watergam area of Sopore, Baramulla.
“The operation, launched in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, was based on specific intelligence inputs.The joint team came under fire from terrorists, prompting an immediate and vigilant response from the security forces. A firefight has ensued, and the operation is currently in progress. Further details will be shared as the situation develops” Army said in a social media post.(KINS)
