Postal Ballot Voting begins for 27-AC Budgam Bye-Elections

Enthusiastic Employees Participate to Strengthen Democratic Process

Budgam, Nov 05 (KINS): The process of postal ballot voting begins for 27-AC Budgam at BDO office Budgam, marking an important step in ensuring that all eligible voters, especially employees in essential services who may not be able to attend polling stations on election day for 27-AC budgam, have the opportunity to exercise their democratic rights.

Speaking on the occasion, the District Election Officer  (DEO) Budgam Dr.Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat underscored the commitment to ensuring a free and fair voting process for all eligible voters.

The DEO said , the postal voting ballot facility at BDO office budgam is well-organized, providing a streamlined process for employees to cast their votes and to strengthen democracy.

“As per the guidelines of ECI , the District administration has worked diligently to assist voters for casting their vote via postal ballot while maintaining the integrity of the postal ballot system”, he added.

The initiation of postal ballot voting in Budgam demonstrates inclusive participation of all employees in the electoral process. The postal ballot voting process will continue for three consecutive days, starting from November 5, 2025.

District administration Budgam will maintain their efforts to support voters and ensure that every voice is heard.

Meanwhile, employees from all essential service departments of the District were seen active and enthusiastic in casting their vote for democracy.(KINS)
