Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva compliments troops for maintaining peace in Rajouri

Srinagar, Sep 23 (KINS): Lt Gen Navin Sachdeva, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, visited the Rajouri Military Garrison today. During his visit, Lt Gen Sachdeva lauded the relentless efforts of the troops in ensuring peace and stability in the region, which has been historically prone to unrest.
The GOC praised their commitment and discipline, emphasizing the critical role they play in maintaining security and tranquility in the region. “Your concerted efforts are essential in preserving the peace in Rajouri and its surrounding areas. Your hard work and dedication continue to ensure the safety of the people and protect the integrity of the region,” said Lt Gen Sachdeva.
Rajouri, being close to the Line of Control (LoC), is a crucial zone where the Indian Army regularly monitors potential security threats.
His interaction with the soldiers also focused on ensuring operational readiness and maintaining a proactive approach to security, crucial for continued peace and tranquility in the region.
The visit comes amid ongoing efforts to strengthen security measures in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in areas like Rajouri, which have seen periodic insurgent activity.(KINS)
