Congress Chief Kharge falls ill during speech

Kathua, Sept 29 : Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday felt dizzy while addressing a public meeting in Jasrota belt of Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Now his condition is stable and doctors are treating him. Party leaders gave this information. Kharge was paying tribute to the head constable who was martyred in the ongoing operation against terrorists in Kathua.
“He was addressing a public rally in Jasrota, when he felt uneasy and started feeling dizzy. His colleagues helped him sit on a chair.” He said that the condition of the Congress President is stable. Kharge had reached Jasrota to address a rally to garner support for his party’s candidates in the assembly elections. He is also scheduled to address another public rally in Ramnagar of Udhampur district. Jammu and Kashmir Congress vice-president Ravinder Sharma said Kharge felt dizzy and was taken to a room where doctors were called in to examine him. He said doctors would advise whether he could participate in the second rally or not.
