Pulwama Police attach property worth lakhs under unlawful activities (Prevention) act

Srinagar, Sep 29(KINS): In a decisive action against terrorism, Pulwama Police have attached the immovable property of Bilal Ahmad Lone, son of Gh Qadir Lone, a resident of Nehama, Pulwama, under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The property attachment follows FIR No. 20/2024, which charges the accused under Sections 307 IPC, 7/27 IA Act, 3/4 Explosive Substances Act, and multiple sections of the UA(P) Act, including Sections 16, 18, 19, 20, 23, 38, and 39.
The attached property includes a plot of land measuring 16 marlas and a two-storey residential house under Survey No. 1821, which has been seized as proceeds of terrorism. The accused was found guilty of providing shelter to LeT commander Reyaz Ahmad Dar and his associate terrorist Rayees Ahmad Dar, both of whom were neutralized in an encounter at his house on June 3, 2024.
This property attachment aims to disrupt terror financing and dismantle support networks. The investigation into the case is ongoing.(KINS)
