Jammu will decide future of J&K, says Tarun Chugh

Srinagar September 30 (KINS): BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh claimed that the future of J&K will be decided by Jammu.

“The PDP, NC, and Congress have exploited the people of Jammu and Kashmir for too long. That time is over now. The future of J&K will now be decided by Jammu,” Chugh said, according to the news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS). “Can’t anyone from Jammu become chief minister? Is this only confined to Muftis and Abdullahs?”

He further alleged that the NC and Congress are seeking to form a Pakistan-backed government in Jammu and Kashmir.

“They want to establish a puppet government controlled by Pakistan in the Union Territory, but we will not allow them to succeed,” he stated.

Chugh also criticized these parties for opposing BJP’s focus on the Jammu region. “Why can’t we talk about the Jammu region?” he questioned. “What were these parties doing when people from a particular community were being targeted? What will they do now for the people of Jammu?” he asked. (KINS)
