Jammu , Oct 3 ( KINS ) : BJP chief Ravinder Raina on Thursday said that the way people have participated in the elections in all three phases of the assembly elections held after a decade, it is expected that the BJP will get an absolute majority on October 8. Addressing a press conference in Jammu, Raina said that I am confident that the way people have voted in record numbers, the BJP will emerge as the largest party in Jammu and Kashmir on October 8.
The new government will carry forward the vision and mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and take Jammu and Kashmir to new heights of development, peace and prosperity. He also said that the way people have voted shows that people have expressed faith in democracy and the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Which includes Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. Responding to a question, Raina said that have some patience till October 8, he said that who is going to become the Chief Minister is not a priority for us. We hope that BJP will emerge as a party with full majority.
I believe that the way people have voted for BJP, we will come forward with full majority. He said that the extensive campaign run by Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP National President JP Nadda in Jammu has seen massive participation of people, which will bear fruit. Raina said that I am sure that lotus will bloom not only in Jammu but also in Kashmir.
He thanked the police, CRPF, BSF, SSB and other security agencies for ensuring smooth and peaceful elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that I also thank the Election Commission of India (ECI) for conducting smooth elections in Jammu and Kashmir and making proper arrangements. He said that I also thank the NGOs, school children and all those people who have played their role in making voters aware in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
