NC will never forge alliance with BJP, says Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Oct 05 (KINS): National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah on Saturday said that his party will not form any alliance with the BJP.

“Any party that forms an alliance with the BJP will be wiped out. I want to make it absolutely clear that the NC will not, under any circumstances, align with the BJP,” Farooq said, according to the news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS).

Responding the BJP’s claims of forming the next government in Jammu and Kashmir, he said, “Let the results be announced, and the reality of who has truly delivered will be evident.”

He also predicted a victory for Congress in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.

Additionally, Abdullah underscored the significance of dialogue and engagement between India and Pakistan, particularly in light of recent tensions. “Economic issues are crucial for everyone, but I am confident that during the meeting, both countries will address bilateral concerns and work towards improving relations,” he said, commenting on the Indian Foreign Minister’s visit to Pakistan.
