Srinagar, Oct 08 (KINS): The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Jammu and Kashmir has expressed gratitude to security forces for their outstanding role in facilitating a seamless counting process for the Assembly elections.
In preparation for the vote counting, security was intensified at all 28 counting centers, creating an environment marked by orderliness and transparency.
CEO PK Pole told news agency KINS, “The professionalism and dedication of our security forces were vital in ensuring that the counting proceeded without any disruptions.”
Pole noted that the extensive security measures were implemented in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and other agencies, all of whom worked in unison to enforce stringent security both inside and outside the counting venues. Their responsibilities included managing large crowds of supporters eager to celebrate their candidates’ successes, ensuring that these festivities remained peaceful.

The meticulous planning and execution of security protocols not only ensured a transparent counting process but also allowed political parties and their supporters to celebrate their victories freely.
The CEO highlighted the importance of collaboration between the electoral body and security forces in upholding democratic values and fostering public confidence in the electoral process. He concluded, “The successful completion of the counting demonstrates the dedication of all those involved. The teamwork between our polling staff and security agencies showcases what we can achieve together. We look forward to continuing this partnership in future elections.”(KINS)
