LG Manoj Sinha administers oath to CM Omar Abdullah & new council of ministers

Srinagar, Oct 16 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has appointed Omar Abdullah as the Chief Minister of the Union Territory.
As per the government press release, Lieutenant Governor also appointed five new members to the Council of Ministers. The appointees are:
Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Sakina Itoo, Javed Ahmed Rana, Javid Ahmad Dar, Satish Sharma.
In a ceremony held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) today, the Lieutenant Governor administered the Oaths of Office and Secrecy to the new ministers. This new leadership team is expected to play a key role in steering the region’s political and developmental agendas forward.(KINS)
