Mehbooba Mufti appeals to CM for reinstatement of dismissed government employees

Srinagar, Nov 11: Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has written to the current Chief Minister, urging him to reconsider the dismissal of several government employees. Mufti expressed concern on X (formerly Twitter) over the plight of families whose members have reportedly been “arbitrarily dismissed from government services on flimsy grounds without a thorough investigation and fair trial.”
In her post, she appealed to the Chief Minister to take a humanitarian approach: “Hope Omer Sb takes a humanitarian view to alleviate the sufferings of these families.”
This appeal underscores the need for a fair process and compassionate review, with Mufti hoping for a resolution to ease the hardships of affected families.
