NC’s Tanvir Sadiq called PDP, Apni Party, People’s Conference ‘hypocrites’

KINS Desk

Srinagar, Feb 26 (KINS): Chief spokesperson of the National Conference (NC) and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, on Wednesday called opposition parties, including the PDP, Apni Party, and Peoples Conference, hypocrites.

“The PDP, Peoples Conference, and Apni Party are responsible for what we are going through after 2019. These were the parties that sat with the BJP to divide Jammu and Kashmir. Now, they have no real issues and are distorting the statements of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to mislead the people,” Tanvir told reporters, according to news agency KINS.

He claimed that these parties were issuing statements at the behest of the BJP.

“These parties were responsible for putting separatists behind bars. Omar Abdullah met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and urged him to win the hearts of the people. He also demanded a time-bound inquiry into the recent deaths of two people,” he said.

“These parties (PDP, Apni Party, People’s Conference) are hypocrites and working at behest of Centre. While the NC has received the people’s mandate. Over the next five years, the Omar Abdullah-led government will work in the best interests of the people,” he added. (KINS)
