MeT predicts cloudy weather with light Rain and Snow in J&K from April 8

Srinagar, April 4 (KINS): The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy weather with light rain and snowfall over higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir starting April 8.

An official as per news agency KINS stated that the ongoing dry weather conditions are likely to persist until April 7 across the region. However, from April 8, the weather is expected to change, with generally cloudy skies in the afternoon and light rain and snow in higher reaches of north and central Kashmir by the evening and night.

On April 9, similar conditions will prevail, with cloudy weather accompanied by light rain and snowfall over many places in Kashmir and scattered locations in Jammu division.

From April 10-11, light rain and snow over higher reaches at scattered places across J&K are expected, followed by a return to dry weather from April 12-15.

The MeT department has advised travelers, tourists, and transporters to follow administrative and traffic advisories to avoid any inconvenience. Farmers have been advised to continue their agricultural activities as usual.(KINS)
