Indian Army retaliates strongly to unprovoked firing by Pakistan along LoC and International Border
Srinagar, Apr 30 (KINS): The Indian Army responded to ceasefire violations by the Pakistan Army across multiple sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) and the international border in Jammu and Kashmir with equal force, delivering a swift and effective retaliation.
According to defence sources, the Pakistani military opened fire targeting forward areas opposite the Naushera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor sectors. Similar incidents of firing were also reported in the Baramulla and Kupwara districts in north Kashmir, as well as across the international border in the Pargwal sector of Jammu.
Indian troops, already on heightened alert in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, responded decisively to suppress the source of firing and prevent any escalation. (KINS)
