BJP Kashmir Unit Holds Review Meeting on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign at Church Lane, Srinagar

Srinagar, August 4: (KINS) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir Unit held a comprehensive review meeting at Church Lane, Srinagar, to assess preparations for the upcoming ‘Tiranga Yatra’, a key initiative under the broader national campaign ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’.l
The meeting was jointly chaired by BJP J&K General Secretary Anwar Khan and State Vice President Dr. Shehnaz Ganie, and was attended by State Office Bearers, Morcha Presidents, District Convenors, Co-Convenors, District Presidents, and other senior leaders of the party.
Prominent among those present were State Secretary Arif Raja, Mudasir Wani, Media Incharge Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah, Social Media Incharge Sajjad Raina, IT Incharge Sartaj Majeed, and All Cells Incharge Bilal Parray.
In her address, Dr. Shehnaz Ganie called for active and wholehearted participation by all party workers to ensure the campaign’s success. Reiterating the directives of BJP National President JP Nadda, she urged the cadre to take the Tiranga—the national flag—to every rooftop in the region. She emphasized the importance of grassroots-level workshops for planning and training.
Highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of national unity and mass participation, she said this year’s Independence Day must symbolize a nation standing united under the Tricolour. She also cautioned against forces that once opposed the spirit of nationalism, stressing the campaign’s role in sending a strong message of unity and resilience.
Anwar Khan, BJP General Secretary, laid out a detailed roadmap for the campaign. He underscored the need for comprehensive booth- and mandal-level planning, and announced that grand Tiranga rallies and padyatras would be held to mark the celebrations. He urged the inclusion of youth participation and called for outreach to security personnel and their families, acknowledging their sacrifices and contributions.
BJP Spokesperson Altaf Thakur, while referencing the emotional and patriotic impact of Operation Sindoor, noted that this year’s Independence Day celebrations carry special significance.
The meeting proceedings were moderated by Mudasir Wani, who clearly outlined the objectives of the campaign. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Salinder Singh, who encouraged all leaders and workers to unite in making the campaign a resounding success.(KINS)
