DIG SKR Flags Off 80 Students from Anantnag for Bharat Darshan Tour

Srinagar, Aug 06 (KINS): DIG SKR Anantnag Javid Iqbal Matoo (IPS) flagged off 80 students from various schools of Anantnag for a Bharat Darshan Tour.

The students will travel to Mumbai and Kolkata to visit important historical and cultural sites. The flag-off ceremony, held at District Police Lines Anantnag, witnessed the presence of SSP Anantnag Amritpal Singh and other senior officers who wished the students success on their journey.

Organized under the Civic Action Programme of Jammu and Kashmir Police, this tour aims to expose students to India’s rich cultural heritage, diversity, and progress, fostering a spirit of unity and national pride.

Addressing the gathering, DIG Matoo highlighted how such exposure tours shape young minds by instilling discipline, confidence, and patriotism. SSP Singh also encouraged students to use this opportunity for learning and personal growth.

J&K Police reiterated its commitment to youth engagement and empowerment through such constructive initiatives.(KINS)
