Those who speak language of separatists and terrorists will face strict action: LG Manoj Sinha
KINS Desk
Srinagar, Sept 30 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday warned that strict action will be taken against individuals or groups who echo separatist or terrorist narratives, stressing that such rhetoric undermines the sacrifices of countless martyrs who laid down their lives for the nation.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 20th J&K Police Martyr’s Memorial Football Tournament in Srinagar, LG Sinha as per news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) said, “This land is saturated with the blood and sacrifice of JKP, Army, and CAPFs martyrs for the nation. Those who speak the language of separatists and terrorists insult the sacrifices of martyrs and hurt their soul. Strictest possible action as per the law of the land will be taken against such elements.”

The Lt Governor lauded the Jammu and Kashmir Police for their unwavering courage, describing them as a pillar of strength in maintaining peace, security, and stability in the Union Territory.

He emphasized that the selfless service and supreme sacrifice of the police force has played a vital role in creating a safe environment for the progress and prosperity of J&K.

“J&K Police brave hearts have always put the nation above everything. Their sacrifice is eternal, and their dedication continues to inspire the younger generation to contribute towards building a stronger and united India,” Sinha said.

Highlighting the significance of sports in youth engagement, the Lt Governor commended the organizers of the Martyr’s Memorial Football Tournament, which he said is not only a tribute to the fallen heroes but also a means of nurturing talent and promoting harmony.

LG Sinha reiterated the government’s commitment to providing all possible support to security forces and their families, while assuring the people that the administration would continue to work tirelessly for peace, development, and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.(KINS)
