SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 27: Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Anshul Garg on Monday chaired a meeting of officers to assess arrangements for the operations of Heli-services during the winter months for the people of snowbound areas of Bandipora and Kupwara districts.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Additional Secretary Civil Aviation, Director Finance Civil Aviation, Additional SIO NIC, Assistant Commissioner Central, representative of Jet Serve and other officers.
Addressing the meeting, the Div Com directed appointment of Nodal Officers at Divisional Level and District offices to assist smooth operation of Heli-services.
He stressed on initiation of online registrations alongwith offline registration to streamline the entire process.
He emphasized on freezing of timelines before departure time to ensure take-off of scheduled sorties.
He also called for filtration of requests for preference based on urgency and necessity.
Meanwhile, the Div Com enjoined SIO, NIC to create a mobile Application for processing requests to provide single window system to the concerned people.
Further, he instructed DCs to widely publicize contact numbers of control rooms so that people can avail Heli-service.
