LG Manoj Sinha chairs high level meeting in Jammu; Chief Secretary, DGP among top officials present

Jammu, Nov 23 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday chaired a high-level meeting in Jammu to review the overall security situation in the Union Territory and assess ongoing measures to strengthen preparedness.

News agency Kashmir Indpeth News Service (KINS) reported that senior officials, including Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP Nalin Prabhat, Special DG (Coordination) S.J.M. Gillani, , and IG Jammu Zone B.S. Tuti, were present in the meeting.

Other top officers from civil and police administration also attended the meeting.

According to reports, senior officials of the Jammu division joined the meeting, making it a comprehensive review of the current security scenario and overall preparedness.

The discussion focused on the security situation, counter-terror operations, and administrative readiness for the upcoming winter season, sources said.

Sources said that the LG was briefed on the steps being taken to “destroy the terror ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir.”

The meeting was ongoing at the time of filing this report, and further details were not immediately available.(KINS)
