DC Baramulla leads armed forces flag day observance, urges support for soldiers’ welfare

Baramulla Dec 08 (KINS): Baramulla observed Armed Forces Flag Day with respect and gratitude, led by Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa. The DC honoured soldiers, veterans, and Veer Naris, reaffirming the district’s commitment to their welfare.

Zila Sainik Welfare Officer Colonel Javed (Sena Medal), along with Senior Wing NCC cadets, visited the DC office and presented the Armed Forces Flag Day lapel pin to the Deputy Commissioner, symbolising solidarity with the armed forces community.

DC Sherpa made a personal contribution to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund and encouraged citizens to support the welfare of serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Additional Deputy Commissioner Syed Altaf Hussain also contributed, strengthening the district’s message of respect for the nation’s defenders.(KINS)
