Aga Syed Mahmood raises Budgam water supply issues with Minister Javed Rana

Srinagar, Jan 09 (KINS): Senior JKNC leader Aga Syed Mahmood met Minister Javed Rana and held detailed discussions on drinking water supply schemes in several areas of Budgam district, including Betabagh, Ompora, Qadipora and Arath.

During the meeting, Aga Syed Mahmood as per news agency Kashmir Indpepth News Service (KINS) highlighted key concerns related to infrastructure gaps, the need for augmentation of existing water supply systems, and the timely completion of ongoing projects. He stressed that these issues were crucial to ensuring reliable and adequate drinking water for the growing population in these localities.

The Minister gave a patient hearing to the issues raised and assured that necessary steps would be taken to strengthen infrastructure and improve drinking water facilities in the concerned areas.

Aga Syed Mahmood also expressed his gratitude to the government for the successful implementation of the Latipora Budgam water supply scheme, stating that it has provided significant relief and benefits to the local population.

He further urged the Minister to continue prioritising pending and future water supply projects to ensure sustainable and uninterrupted drinking water for residents across Budgam district.(KINS)
