Two-way passenger movement allowed on Jammu–Srinagar NH-44

Srinagar, Jan 28 (KINS): Passenger traffic has been allowed from both directions—Jammu towards Srinagar and Srinagar towards Jammu—on the Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), officials said on Wednesday.
Commuters have been advised to strictly follow lane discipline, as overtaking and wrong-lane driving may lead to traffic congestion and delays.
The public has been urged not to pay heed to rumours and to verify road status only through official sources. Updates can be checked on the Traffic Police Twitter handle @Traffic_hqrs, the Facebook page facebook.com/jammuandkashmirtrafficpolice, or through Traffic Control Units (TCUs).
