J&K High Court orders Darbar Move to Srinagar from May 4

Jammu, Apr 18 (KINS): The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has ordered the annual Darbar Move of its main wing from Jammu to Srinagar for the 2026 summer season.

According to the directive, key offices—including the Chief Justice’s secretariat and various registry wings—will shut in Jammu on April 30 after office hours and reopen in Srinagar on May 4.

Employees relocating as part of the move will receive a special allowance of Rs 25,000, while those who fail to shift within the stipulated time will not be eligible for the benefit. (KINS)
