Srinagar, Sep 04 (KINS): Srinagar Police organised a dignified farewell ceremony at District Police Lines (DPL), Srinagar, to honour two police personnel who retired from service after long and dedicated careers with the Jammu & Kashmir Police.
The retiring personnel were ASI Mohd Yousuf Ganai and Follower Abdul Qayoom Najar. During their careers, they served the department with commitment, professionalism and integrity, contributing to maintaining peace, public safety and law and order in the district.
On the occasion, SSP Srinagar Dr G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, appreciated the retirees for their exemplary service and dedication to duty. He acknowledged their valuable contributions to the force and extended his best wishes to them and their families for good health, happiness and a peaceful post-retirement life.
The ceremony was attended by SP Headquarters Umar Shah, DySP Headquarters Syed Sleet Shah, DySP DAR Nazir Ahmad, along with other senior officers and officials of Srinagar Police.
As a mark of appreciation, SSP Srinagar presented Certificates of Appreciation to both retiring personnel in recognition of their sincerity, dedication and valuable service to the department.
The ceremony concluded on a warm and emotional note, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect within the Jammu & Kashmir Police. Srinagar Police expressed gratitude to the retirees for their selfless service and wished them a healthy, prosperous and fulfilling new chapter in life.(KINS)
