Sunil Sharma meets people in Baramulla, assures to raise issues in Assembly

Baramulla, Sept 16 (KINS): Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Sunil Sharma on Wednesday interacted with residents and representatives of various sections from Baramulla, Kupwara and Bandipora districts as part of the BJP legislative group’s pre-session outreach programme.

The interaction was held at Dak Bungalow, Baramulla, where people raised issues related to roads, bridges, water supply, electricity charges, tourism, employment, outsourced workers, NHM and Anganwadi employees, and municipal elections.

Sharma said the BJP legislative group would visit district headquarters across J&K ahead of the Assembly session to hear public grievances and ensure that genuine issues are raised in the appropriate forums.

He said unemployment, civic infrastructure and local governance required greater attention and assured that the concerns raised during the Baramulla interaction would be taken up in the Assembly.

J&K BJP General Secretary Anwar Khan, All Cells Co-Incharge and Baramulla Prabhari Bilal Parray and other party leaders were also present.(KINS)
