Sunil Sharma accuses Abdullah family of biggest vote theft in India’s history “Abdullah family should answer for 1987 rigging; Khaliq, as DC, used to appoint MLAs”

Srinagar, Oct 12 (KINS): Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma today said that if there is any biggest allegation of vote theft in the history of India, it lies against the Abdullah family.
Addressing media persons in Srinagar, LoP Sharma said, “If the allegation of ‘vote chori’ is to be levelled against anyone, it is against the rigging of 1987, when Farooq Abdullah was made Chief Minister after stealing the mandate of the people.”
He said the 1987 rigging is not just an example in India but is cited across the world as one of the darkest chapters of electoral fraud.
“The Abdullah family should first answer for 1987. The biggest theft in the country is the theft of 1987,” Sharma said.
LoP Sharma further stated that fair and transparent elections in Jammu & Kashmir were held only under the prime ministerships of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi, while Congress has a long history of stealing votes in J&K.
Hitting out at Congress, he said, “There was a DC named Khaliq in J&K who used to appoint MLAs. They were known as ‘Khaliq-made MLAs’.”
Sharma said those who have a history of murdering democracy are now giving sermons on democracy.(KINS)
