Srinagar, Mar 30: The Police Public School in Bemina, Srinagar, arranged an Iftar event for the children and families of martyrs at the school premises.
The event saw the presence of several distinguished guests, including DIG CID Sujit Kumar Singh IPS, DIG CKR Rajiv Pandey IPS, SSP Srinagar Ashish Mishra IPS, Comdt 13 BN Aslam Khan JKP, SP West Imtiyaz Ahmed JKP, PK Tripathi Dy Co 73rd BN CRPF, along with other officers.
Families of martyrs, including their children enrolled in the school, actively took part in the event. Additionally, all teaching and non-teaching staff members were present.
During the occasion, DIG CID contributed 500 books to enrich the school library, while DIG CKR donated four Samsung tablets as part of the Civic Action Programme to the school principal, Mrs. Snigdha Singh.
