Srinagar, Oct 23 (KINS): Scores of students gathered in the Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday to protest the recent terror attack that claimed seven lives in Gagangeer. The protest, sparked by outrage and grief, saw students condemning the brutal killings and calling for an end to such violence in the region.
The terror attack, which took place late Sunday evening at a construction site in Gagangeer, left seven people dead, including a doctor. The attack has sent shockwaves through the district, with local communities and students demanding peace and justice.
The protesting students held placards and marched through the streets, expressing their anger over the senseless violence.
“These incidents shouldn’t happen in Kashmir. We want peace and safety for all,” said one of the students during the protest as per news agency KINS.
The Gagangeer attack is one of the deadliest in recent months and has been widely condemned by political leaders, civil society, and local residents. Security forces have launched an investigation to apprehend those responsible for the killings.(KINS)]
