Omar Abdullah likely to meet Amit Shah tomorrow

Srinagar Dec 17 (KINS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is likely to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday to discuss a range of critical issues, including the early restoration of statehood to the Union Territory.

This will mark Omar’s second meeting with the Home Minister since he assumed office as Chief Minister. Sources said the discussions are likely to cover significant political and administrative matters concerning Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting comes amidst growing demands for the restoration of statehood and increased autonomy for the region.  (KINS)
