Police Arrest Notorious Drug Peddler in Pulwama, Contraband Substances Recovered

Pulwama, Jan 6 (KINS): As part of ongoing efforts to eradicate the drug menace, Pulwama Police have arrested a notorious drug peddler and seized contraband substances from his possession.
A police team from Police Post Newa, while patrolling the Wurwan area, apprehended Mudasir Ahmed Bhat, son of Gh Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, a resident of Parigam. During the search, 5 grams of heroin were recovered from his possession.
An FIR (No. 04/25) under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Pulwama, and further investigation is underway.
The public is urged to cooperate with the police in their mission to eliminate drug abuse from society.(KINS)
