Srinagar Jan 14 (KINS): Advisor to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Nasir Aslam Wani has asked the Opposition to focus on constructive criticism rather than negativity.
“It is the responsibility of the opposition to criticize, but it should be aimed at development, not spreading negativity. The government has been in power for just a few months, and it takes time to address challenges,” Wani told reporters here according to news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS).
“Many current problems are a result of past decisions made by previous governments, and had they acted wisely, the situation could have been better today,” he said.
Responding to questions about the absence of a Parliament Member at a recent event, Wani clarified that the individual had prior commitments in South Kashmir. He called for unity and collaboration to ensure collective progress.
Wani expressed optimism about the future, saying, “We hope to see better opportunities for our youth, a flourishing tourism season, and growth in the horticulture sector. The region has suffered greatly over the past 30-35 years of conflict, but I am confident we will overcome these challenges and build a brighter future.” (KINS)
