JKBOSE likely to announce class 10 results tonight; over 1.33 Lakh students await outcome

Srinagar, Apr 30 (KINS): The Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is expected to declare the Class 10 examination results by tonight, possibly around 10 PM, according to senior board officials.

A senior JKBOSE official confirmed that preparations are nearly complete. “The result compilation for the Kashmir division is done. We’re giving final touches to the Jammu division, and if all goes as planned, results will be announced tonight,” the official stated.

This year, approximately 1.33 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exams across the Union Territory. The pass percentage is anticipated to range between 73% and 74%.

To ensure smooth result dissemination, the board has partnered with private service providers through NIC (National Informatics Centre) networks. “We’ve taken all technical measures. Most likely, results will go live by 10 PM,” the official added.

Significantly, this will be the first time in JKBOSE history that results for two major classes — Class 10 and Class 12 — are being declared within such a short and synchronized timeframe. The Class 12 results are scheduled for release tomorrow at 2 PM.

JKBOSE Secretary G.H. Sheikh credited the coordinated efforts of board staff for this achievement. “All teams worked with great dedication to ensure timely declaration. If all goes well, students can expect the results tonight,” Sheikh said.(KINS)
