DGP J&K Reviews Security Arrangements Along Baltal Axis of Amarnath Yatra

Srinagar, July 8 (KINS): In a move to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the ongoing Amarnath Ji Yatra, Director General of Police (DGP) Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Nalin Prabhat, conducted a comprehensive security review along the Baltal axis today.

Accompanied by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Central Kashmir Range, and other senior officers, the DGP assessed the deployment and operational preparedness of forces guarding the yatra route.

The high-level team also visited key yatra base camps at Shadipora, Manigam, and Baltal, where they inspected the security arrangements and facilities being provided to the pilgrims. The officers interacted with personnel on the ground and took stock of logistics, surveillance mechanisms, and coordination among various security and civil agencies.(KINS)
