Director Sheep Husbandry Kashmir Reviews Dachigam Sheep Breeding Farm relocation
SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 04: Director Sheep Husbandry Department Kashmir, Dr. Rafiq Ahmad Shah, today reviewed the progress of work on the ongoing project for the Relocation of Sheep Breeding Farm from Dachigam to Khimber, Srinagar.
The review meeting was conducted at the project site, where detailed discussions were held regarding the pace of work and requirements for early completion. The Director directed all concerned agencies to ensure proper coordination and to remove any existing bottlenecks so that the project is completed within the stipulated time.
The Director reiterated that the Department is committed to strengthening the infrastructure of sheep husbandry in Kashmir and the relocation project will go a long way in enhancing the breeding facilities and boost the sector.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer, PW(R&B) Division Dalgate, concerned AEEs, Deputy Director SBF Khimber, and officers of the farms.
