Gurpurab celebrated with devotion at Guru Teg Bahadur Gurudwara on LoC Teetwal

Teetwal, Nov 05 (KINS): The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated with great devotion and joy at the historic Guru Teg Bahadur Gurudwara, located on the Line of Control (LoC) in Teetwal, North Kashmir. The Gurudwara — known as the last one on the Indian side — was beautifully decorated and lit up for the occasion.

Ravinder Pandita, head of the committee managing both the Sharda Temple and the Gurudwara at LoC Teetwal, extended greetings to people on this sacred day. He recalled that the Gurudwara was rebuilt in 2022, 75 years after it was destroyed along with the temple during the 1947 tribal raids.

Kamal Devrani, the temple pujari, performed prayers and lit oil lamps to mark the celebration.(KINS)
