SRINAGAR, JULY 07 (KINS): Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Dhiraj Seth,on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar.
The Army Chief was accompanied by General Officer Commanding (GOC), Chinar Corps, Lieutenant General Balbir Singh, along with other senior Army officers.
The meeting took place following General Seth’s assumption of office as the Chief of the Army Staff on June 30.
During the interaction, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah congratulated General Seth on taking over the country’s highest Army appointment and conveyed his best wishes for a successful tenure in his new role.(KINS)
