Police Register Case Against Unknown Miscreants For Frequently Hurling Stones On Sarpanch’s House

Police have registered a case against unknown miscreants who alternately hurl stones on the house of a Sarpanch during night hours in Nadihal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

The case has been registered after Sarpanch Nadihal ‘C’ Nazir Ahmed Buhroo filed a complaint at Police Station Argam that miscreants target his house during night hours without any provocation.

“I have five daughters who feel scary. These miscreants alternately target my house and hurl stones during night hours,” the complainant said.

Nazir Ahmed Buhroo was recently elected as Sarpanch in the area. “I was elected uncontested as people in the area requested me to represent them. I don’t know why miscreants are targeting my house given the fact I have no son and five daughters,” he said adding that the scary environment has badly affected the education of his daughters.

A police official confirmed that a case has been registered and investigation has been going on. He said miscreants will face the music for harassing peace loving citizens. (CNS)
