Another Encounter breaks out in South Kashmir

 

Srinagar, May 16: A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces at Handew Village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thrusday.

Reports reaching said that a joint team army, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search at Handew village late today afternoon.

A police officer told  that cordon was launched on specific information in the area.

As such the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon the forces triggering an encounter.

Till this report was being filed the intermittent firing was going.(GNS)
