Stand-off attack on army party at Pulwama, no injuries

Pulwama, Oct 29 : Suspected militants fired upon army’s patrolling party at Drabgam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama. However, no injuries were reported in the incident.

An official told wire service— that militants fired at the patrolling party of 44 RR that was part of area domination party while as 183 battalion of CRPF was also present at the spot. “It was a stand-off attack and no injuries took place in the attack,” the official said.

The site of attack was also closer to the examination centre. Soon after the attack, entire area was sealed off and a massive search operation launched to track down the attackers. (KNO)
