Joint secretary MIDH reviews progress of Centre of excellence projects taken under Indo-Dutch cooperation

Srinagar, Feb 14: A brain storming session under the chairmanship of  Rajbir Singh, joint secretary (MIDH),Ministry of agriculture & farmers welfare krishi bhawan New Delhi was held for reviewing  the progress of Centre of excellence projects taken under Indo-Dutch cooperation.

Officials said that the meeting was attended by Mission Director J&K (MIDH) Ajaz Ahmed Bhat who gave a power point presentation of 2 centre of excellence ,CoE for temperate fruits Srinagar & CoE for tropical fruits at Jammu.

Mission Director Jammu and Kashmir presented the latest progress of these projects & assured the chair to complete the both projects during 2020-21 Meeting was attended by counsellor Agriculture  Siebe schuur embassy’ of kingdom of the Netherlands & Mission directors of J&K , Karnataka,Karela,Maharashtra & Punjab & other officers of agriculture ministry GOI.

Officials said that Rajbir Singh stressed to remain in touch with PUM experts of Netherlands & speed up the works so as to complete the projects within timeframe
