Talent Hunt Programme “Choona Hai Aasman” organized at Baramulla

February 24: A Talent Hunt competition “Choona Hai Asmaan” under the aegis of Civic Action Programme was organized by North Range Police in Baramulla at Sherwani Hall Baramulla.

The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Deputy Inspector General of Police, NKR, Baramulla,  SSP Baramulla, CO IRP 13th Bn, senior officers of army and civil administration.

In the event, 45 contestants from different age groups viz 5-12 years, 13-18 years and 19-25 years participated from the various districts of North Kashmir.

At the event, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla in his address appreciated the participants and highlighted the purpose of organizing such events.

While speaking on the occasion, DIG North Kashmir M. Suleman Choudhary-IPS praised the contestants for their exemplary skills and talent. He highlighted the purpose for organizing such events besides, emphasized that J&K police is committed to provide platform to talented people especially youth in various fields. The sole objective of these programmes is to explore the hidden talent of the youth and project them at regional and national level.

Later on, prizes were distributed among the toppers of each age group: 1st positions to 1) Shahid Zahoor 2) Anayatullah 3) Adil Rashid. 2nd positions to 1) Moin Mustafa 2) Bisma Sajad 3) Nazir Firdous. 3rd positions to 1) Tabish Hafeez 2) Mehnaz 3) Aijaz Ahmad. Other participants in the programme were also awarded with certificates.
